At this workshop, participants will learn best practices for preparing a greenhouse space, growing your own robust starts from seeding to transplanting, maintaining a healthy growing environment and troubleshooting pest and disease issues. The workshop will include a tour of our greenhouse and propagation facilities.
The event will be held at FOOD for Lane County’s Youth Farm where we reduce hunger by engaging our community to grow food, learn skills and work together. We invite you to stay after the workshop and tour the farm and find out more about our program.
We recommend dressing warm and with boots in case of rain and mud.
