Get your taste buds ready for the 9^th Annual Grilled Cheese Experience presented by Kendall Cares!

Happening the entire month of February, this cheesy event is coming to a restaurant near you. Each of the participating restaurants are offering their twist on our favorite comfort food, the grilled cheese sandwich, and for each sandwich you purchase they will donate two dollars ($2) to FOOD For Lane County.

For added fun and a chance to win some cheesy prizes, pick up a GCE Passport at any participating restaurant or download the passport here.

REMINDER

All GCE Passports must be turned in no later than March 1st to be eligible for drawings and prizes.

Come to Kendall Subaru’s Passport Turn-In event on March 1 (12-5:30) and get a Cheesy Royalty sticker … PLUS… O’ My Mini Donuts will there give you one last opportunity to get a Bonus restaurant stamp!

Bonus stamps give you chances to win Eugene Emeralds tickets and more, thanks to our title sponsor Kendall Auto Eugene.

If you can’t get to Kendall Subaru, turn your passport in at:

1) any participating restaurant by the close of business on March 1st

-OR-

2)Take to FOOD For Lane County at 770 Bailey Hill Rd, Eugene (9am-4pm)

-OR-

3) email photo of your passport (including name & contact info) to dmwoodward@foodforlanecounty.org by Midnight, March 1st.

GCE Passports & Prizes

The passport is a great way to keep track of your cheesy journey and earn prizes. When you purchase a sandwich, collect the restaurant sticker for your passport to be eligible for some “gouda” prizes. While a passport is not necessary to participate in the GCE, it is one of the ways to earn prizes. The more stickers you collect, the bigger your prize.

Grand Prize – Two VIP/Early Entrance Tickets to FFLC’s premiere foodie event Chefs’ Night Out on April 3^rd.

For every 5 stickers you collect, you will get one entry into the Grand Prize drawing.
5 stickers = 1 entry, 10 stickers = 2 entries, 15 stickers = 3 entries, and so forth.

Cheesy Royalty Prize – The Ultimate Grilled Cheese Kit

Every Cheesy Royalty sticker on your passport represents one entry in the drawing for this prize.
Cheesy Royalty appearances are announced on “Grilled Cheese Experience FFLC” on Facebook and Instagram.

I Ate Them All Prize – One General Admission ticket to Chefs’ Night Out on April 3^rd.

Collect all 27 restaurant stickers to be eligible to receive this prize.

Sticker Prizes — Based on the number of stickers collected, you will be able to select prizes from the GCE “store” at the Passport Turn-In event on Wednesday, March 1^st (details to come).

Prizes will be given for 10 stickers, 15 stickers or 20 stickers. Prizes will be awarded only for the highest level earned.

Hashtag Prizes — Use #CheeseLuv23 on all your Facebook and Instagram grilled cheese posts for more chances to win prizes throughout the month of February.
