Between March 8th and March 20th, bring in a full paper bag size of groceries to either Lane County Curves location and have your $99.00 service fee waived.
Lane County Home & Garden Show

Free admission, 300 exhibits and Spring Gardens at the 2010 Lane County Home & Garden Show. Please bring high protein canned food donations to help fight hunger with FOOD for Lane County. Last year the spring show alone raised over 13,000 pounds of food!
Project Homeless Connect
March 18 | 9:00am - 3:00pm | Exhibit Hall, Lane County Fairgrounds, 13th and Jefferson
Project Homeless Connect is a nationwide movement to increase access to services for homeless people and to engage local communities in finding a solution for homelessness. By convening a one-day, "one-stop shop" event, Project Homeless Connect offers assistance with food, housing, health care, legal issues, benefits enrollment, treatment and other basic needs to people who are homeless.
Sew-A-Thon

Enjoy working with fabric? Head out to the two-day Sew-A-Thon at Our Sewing Room in Springfield. Join other sewers in making fabric bowls to donate to the Empty Bowl Sale on May 21st. Bring your sewing machine and usual supplies.
Clay Space Throw-A-Thon
March 27 - March 28 | TBA | Clay Space, 222 Polk Ave, Eugene
Join other potters to throw and trim bowls at the two-day Throw-a-Thon hosted by Clay Space in Eugene. All bowls made at this fun event are donated to FOOD for Lane County's Empty Bowl Sale on May 21st. Only experienced potters can make bowls, but beginners are encouraged to attend and observe!
Gardens Program Spring Plant Sale
March 27 | 10:00am - 5:00pm | GrassRoots Garden, 1465 Coburg Rd at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church
Support the FOOD for Lane County Gardens by planting yours! Join us at the GrassRoots Garden, 1465 Coburg Rd., on Saturday March 27th, and choose from a wide selection of edible and ornamental perennials, natives and organically grown annual vegetable, flower and herbs. All proceeds from the Spring Plant Sale support FOOD for Lane County's efforts to grow healthy and organic food for our community. Call 541-343-2822 for more information.
Fuse-A-Thon
