Welcoming Everyone to the Table: Our New Website & Brand
October 5, 2025
It’s a very exciting day at Food for Lane County! We are thrilled to announce a major step forward in our mission to serve our community: a brand-new website and a refreshed look that’s more digital friendly and welcomes everyone to the table.
For 40 years, Food for Lane County has been the hub for food access in our community. As the needs of our community have grown, so have our services. We realized that our digital front door needed to evolve, too. To make finding food easier, we embarked on a year-long journey to create a more powerful and accessible website for our neighbors.
As part of this process, we also refreshed our logo and overall brand in a way that can easily adapt to the digital world we live in. Our new look is welcoming, impactful and better reflects the vital, ongoing work of our staff, volunteers and partners.
“Our community’s needs are always evolving and so are we,” said Carolyn Stein, our Executive Director. “This new website and refreshed look are about serving our neighbors more effectively. Every element was designed to better communicate our core values of compassion, inclusion and collaboration, and to make our services more accessible.”
This entire process was community-driven
We partnered with local marketing firm Turell Group and gathered feedback from over 2,000 people, including our staff, board, community members and partner agencies. These projects were made possible, in part, by a generous donation of $85,000 in website, branding and photography services by Turell Group.
How it benefits our community
A key feature of the new site is our powerful new Food Finder tool, an interactive map that allows anyone to quickly and easily find the nearest food pantry or meal site. The website also includes a language translator and is aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure it is accessible for all.

Our new brand and website are a way to communicate more clearly, connect more deeply and work more effectively toward our vision of ending hunger in Lane County. We invite you to explore our new website and share in our excitement!
