SUMMARY:Community Survey 2026
DESCRIPTION:We are asking Lane County residents about their experiences with hunger. All responses are confidential. \nThe survey can be completed here: https://bit.ly/FFLCSurvey2026 \nWe use this information to communicate the need for food supports and assistance with all stakeholders\, including donors\, policy makers\, our partners\, and community members. And we use the data internally to tailor Food for Lane County programming and resources to meet community needs. \nThe Community Survey runs February 15 through May 16\, 2026. Participants can enter to win a $20 grocery store gift card on completion of the survey. Names and email addresses submitted into the gift card drawing are not attached to the answers provided in the survey. \nThis year we are partnering with the University of Oregon School of Planning\, Public Policy\, and Management to administer the survey and analyze the data. SUMMARY:2026 Summer Plant Sale
DESCRIPTION:Food for Lane County’s Garden Program has done it again!\nThe Summer Plant Sale returns May 8th and 9th at the Youth Farm’s brand-new location at 34596 Seavey Loop Road in Eugene. \nIf you thought our cold-weather plant sale was great\, our warm-weather starts will knock your socks off! We’ll have three times the variety of plants as our spring sale. Tomatoes\, peppers\, cucumbers\, sweet corn\, basil\, melons\, squash\, herbs\, flowers… the list goes on and on! So come out 10am-4pm on May 8th and 9th to plant up your summer garden. \nAnd the best part: proceeds support Food for Lane County’s Youth Farm programs\, where teens learn how to grow food that is distributed to our food assistance programs and sold at our produce stand and through our CSA.
