About Food for Lane County
As a nonprofit food bank based in Eugene, Oregon, we serve thousands of individuals and families across Lane County by engaging our community to create access to food with compassion and community-driven solutions.
Find Your Place
We couldn’t meet our mission of reducing hunger without you–our community. Whether you’ve got one hour to give or you’re ready to make a weekly commitment, we’ve got a place for you!
If your happy place is outside, boots on the ground and hands in the dirt, come grow with us at the Youth Farm or GrassRoots Garden. At our warehouses and offices, there are many ways you can help. Whether it’s preparing meals in our commercial kitchen, packing up snacks for kids to take home over the weekend or lending a helping hand at an event–we’re grateful you’re choosing to support the community with us.
We welcome individual volunteers or groups. Volunteer with your business, church group, book club, or even your city rec league team! If you have a group of more than six, reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator Dan Budd at dan@foodforlanecounty.org and he can find the right fit.
