Food pantries partner through FoodNet

FOOD for Lane County partners with 20 food pantries that provide direct service by distributing emergency food boxes. This distribution of food to clients is facilitated in part through FoodNet. FoodNet is comprised of the managers of these food pantries. FoodNet meets every other month to discuss current trends at food pantries and in the communities they serve and to voice concerns, share experiences and engage in group problem solving. FoodNet meetings also provide a forum for sharing helpful information about what is happening at FOOD for Lane County and receiving updates on food resources and distribution trends in the statewide and national network of food banks.
