FOOD for Lane County’s Family Dinner Program provides hot, nutritious, sit-down meals that can supplement emergency food boxes. The dinner program is available to people who may earn too much to qualify for food assistance. It helps those who have already received a food box but may still need assistance. FOOD for Lane County operates two congregate meal sites that serve dinner four nights a week at no cost.
Meals are prepared using food from a variety of sources including Food Rescue Express, donations from local grocery stores, fresh produce from FOOD for Lane County’s gardens and local donors.
