Help Us Fill Empty Bowls!
The 2009 Empty Bowl Sale is Friday, May 29, 2009, from 5:30pm to 8pm, at Clay Space, 222 Polk Street, Eugene. More than 1,000 bowls made by local potters, wood turners and fabric, metal and glass artists will be on sale for $10 and up. Each bowl purchased benefits FOOD for Lane County's local hunger relief efforts and includes a coupon for a free bowl of soup at a participating restaurant.
The goal of FOOD for Lane County’s Empty Bowls Project is to remind us that people in our community are hungry and need our help to fill their empty bowls.
