Cards will be delivered according to your instructions. Cards are available in two styles. One features artwork by Eugene painter Laura Efron. The other features artwork by syndicated cartoonist and Eugene resident Jan Eliot. Eliot's cartoon, Stone Soup, is distributed by Universal Press Syndicate to more than 200 newspapers worldwide.
After giving gift baskets to their clients for more than a decade, Jeff Curl and Norman Levinrad, principals and founders of Summit Benefit & Actuarial Services in Eugene, were ready for a more meaningful way to thank their clients.
“We were spending a lot of money and effort on gifts,” said Levinrad. “We decided the money could be better directed. That’s when we decided to give our clients FOOD for Lane County gift cards.”
“Our clients really like being acknowledged this way and knowing that the money is going where it’s needed,” said Levinrad.
“No one has said ‘I miss my cheese basket,’ but many have said they really appreciate that we’re making a donation in their name to FOOD for Lane County,” said Curl.
"We think FOOD for Lane County is doing great work," said Levinrad,"and we’re happy to be able to support it.”
