You can be assured that a donation of any size is put to work immediately improving the lives of Lane County citizens. FOOD for Lane County has received a 3-star rating from Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities. Charity Navigator helps charitable givers make intelligent giving decisions by providing information on more than 5,000 charities and by evaluating the financial health of each.

For every $1 you donate, FOOD for Lane County can collect and distribute six pounds of food. Your $10 contribution helps fill two emergency food boxes. Each box typically feeds a family of four for three to five days. Of every dollar you donate, more than 95% goes directly to FOOD for Lane County programs and activities that collect and distribute food for families in need. Your generous contribution ensures the flow of food through FOOD to Lane County to more than 100 social service agencies and programs serving low-income individuals living in Lane County. This food reaches one in five Lane County residents annually.
