• For every $1 FOOD for Lane County receives, we are able to distribute 6 pounds of food.
• Distributed more than 6 million pounds of food.
• Partnered with over 100 local agencies and programs.
• Served 80,000 individuals (over 20% of the Lane County population).
• Almost 30,000 people served were children under 18. One out of three children ate from a food box last year.
• 36 people graduated from the Healthy Futures nutrition education program.
• Served over 124,000 lunches to children during the summer break from school (up from 110,000 last year).
• Harvested over 75,000 pounds of fresh organic produce from the Youth Farm, Grassroots Garden and Churchill Garden.
• Provided food for 470,000 meals through shelters and meal sites.
• Several thousand community members contributed nearly 60,000 volunteer hours.
• Rescued, packaged and distributed over 644,000 pounds of food from local restaurants, dorms, hospitals and hotels through Food Rescue Express (219,000 more than last year).
